I had a chance to read this debut novel today and read it just under an hour. It is a short story about the "Key of Power," after being out of reach for many centuries since the time of Atlantis, being brought down to Earth in a search for a bearer. It first landed in the late 700s AD and pass through the centuries and kept safe from those who are hungry for power until the present time when a life of a single father turns from simplicity to complexity.It's an absorbing yet quick story with an interesting concepts involved. I've enjoyed it.

Very entertaining. It was just getting good, when it was over. A very quick read. I have also read the sequel, and am hungry for more.
I must have to read second book to see further development of John's destiny.
I recommend to anyone who like to read about mystery, adventure, fantasy, or just intriguing new kinds of story.
